All UCSF Mission Bay garages and lots are covered. We may include other garages or lots later, but there is no estimated date for implementation.
Let your passenger view the screen for you. If you don't have a passenger, only view the screen when you are parked. According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety: 'In California, persons are prohibited from driving a motor vehicle while holding and operating a phone or electronic communication device. Drivers who are 18 and older may dictate, send or listen to text-based messages if they're using voice-activated, hands-free devices.' More info can be found at https://www.iihs.org/iihs/topics/t/distracted-driving/topicoverview.
A: If you open the web page, it will display that garage first, and display the other garages in order of closest garage next. If you want to unsave it, click the "Remove Favorite" button or select a different garage and select "Save as Favorite". YOU CAN ONLY HAVE ONE FAVORITE GARAGE.
There will be, some time in 2019. We recommend you download the UCSF mobile app for its many other features and transportation information:
IOS Mobile App: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ucsf-mobile/id914153406?mt=8
Android Mobile App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=edu.ucsf.cls
Enter 4 or more letters for the destination, and if there is a match, the closest garage will be listed.
When you first open the app, it immediately makes a request for the latest information, so the data will be no more than a minute or two old. After that, the web page will update every minute, with the data only a minute or two old.
If we cannot access the number of free spaces in real time, this is what we display
Yes, you can access the website and data from any device anywhere with internet. But keep in mind the data updates in real time so depending how long your commute is to reach UCSF, the data may no longer be the same when you get here.
